About

I want to be your brat, your woman, your friend. I want to tell you everything, whispering my confessions as I lie across your lap. I want stress relief; I want to relieve your stress. I want butterflies, anxiety and comfort all wrapped in a passionate package and tied with a belt.

Until then, I’m barely pink.  You know what to do.

Excerpt from an interview with The Cognitive Slut:

What are your likes and dislikes as far as porn/erotica goes?

My tastes are so varied on this, but mostly when I look at porn I’m checking out the women more than the men. A photo of a thrusting, powerful male ass though always makes me shiver. Oh, and red bottoms on the women. That’s a given, I suppose.

Although I am submissive, there is a difference between submission and degradation. I do not enjoy pornography that degrades women. (Some would argue that all pornography degrades women to an extent…but I don’t share in that belief.) I guess degradation is in the eye of the beholder, and I know it when I see it. Also, I recently ran across a cannibal-play porn site (don’t ask me how), and even though it was tasteful, pardon the pun, I absolutely abhor the idea of people getting sexual gratification from imagining violent crimes perpetrated against other people.

Is there anything you won’t do sexually?

I don’t share and I don’t do any body modification of any sort (i.e. scarification, tattoos, piercing). Knife play is off the table. So is fire play. And ball gags…I won’t do ball gags. Or medical play. And then, of course there are the obvious things that should not need saying, like children, animals, and corpses.

What do you write about on your blog?

Well, I have covered a wide array of topics: hair, masturbation, gardening, cooking. But it is most definitely a spanking blog. Only one or two posts were fictional, so it’s a true-to-life accounting of my own experiences.

Why did you decide to start blogging?

When I was the littlest of girls, I dreamed of being a sex blogger. Not really.

But I have always enjoyed writing and keeping journals so this seemed like a natural transition — the main difference being that other people are now privy to my thoughts. I want my blog to make “this thing we do” more comfortable for those who are just finding their way. There is no guilt in what we do, and I hope that my blog helps people realize that.

If you had one superpower (sexual or otherwise) what would it be?

I’d want the power to take away people’s pain and release it as positive energy. Oh and invisibility would be nice, too.

Before you go, give The Cognitive Slut and its readers some much needed sex advice:

Find the right partner. With the wrong person, sex will never, ever be good. With the right partner you can share all of your deepest darkest desires and expose them to the light, making them not-so-dark and shame-filled anymore.

You are my favourite blogger. You can see why in this interview – you’re so smart, sharp, witty, insightful, empathetic, and generous.

Your blog, and your writing voice, have totally changed my sexuality – they’ve made me grow up, I guess, by becoming more self-accepting, self-aware, confident, cognizant of the emotions of others, and open to new ideas.

I was maybe a typically weirdo spanko girl before – conflicted between feminism and submission, embarrassed about my kink, ashamed of its association with darker forces (the degrading stuff, as you put it), isolated in my desires, and suppressed in my quest for satisfying relationships.

You freed me from a lot of that. Now I can be feminist, proud of my kink (though still in the closet), clear in my boundaries, linked in with a community, and brazen in my seduction of spankers. My angst has been replaced with pleasure, my pent up role-play fantasies with ideas for stories to share online.

I love you Miss Pink, wherever you are. You speak for so many of us loyal followers.

Cutensexxxy, your testimonial has left me without words. If all you say is true, then I have accomplished all that I wanted with this blog.

Thank you, thank you. I am literally without words. I’ll add more to my comment after they return to me.

Big hugs to my brazen friend,

    Pink

Ooo! I can has the picture at the bottom? Pweese pweese pwesse?!?!? 😀 I promise to only use it for giggles and possibly my own blog! 🙂

Oh yes, you may. You can use whatever photo you find and like from this blog. (None of them are mine! I nicked them from somewhere else, too!)

It makes me happy to see other blogs using photos that I titled. It means they like them. 🙂

    Dear Pink,

You write… like a coiled spring. Your words are so energised that a part of me wonders whether reality could ever match up to the emotions roused by your poetic voice.

Let me know if (when!) you publish on paper. If I could have a bound copy of your words on my bookshelf, I think it might very easily become one of my most treasured possessions.

    You’re very, very special.

      Speechless, again.

‘Thank you’ doesn’t begin to express the gift your words gave me, velvetfeline. And I certainly will let you know if, or when, I put my words to paper. That would be a dream come true.

      Hugs,

      Pink

Hi, I was wondering if you’d be interested in including a link on your blog to the Library of Spanking Fiction, a free archive containing over 15,000 items of spanking fiction. If so the URL is:

    http://www.spankinglibrary.co.cc/

    Thanks.

    Absolutely, Februs!

    Thanks for visiting. 🙂
