Photo captions by Mae West

I’m positive that these are the activities she had in mind when Mae West made her bawdy double entendres. Wouldn’t you agree?

“I’ve been in more laps than a napkin.”

“A hard man is good to find.”

“It takes two to get one in trouble.”

“A dame that knows the ropes isn’t likely to get tied up.”

“Anything worth doing is worth doing slowly.”

“I like restraint, if it doesn’t go too far.”

“Give a man a free hand and he’ll run it all over you.”

“I didn’t discover curves; I only uncovered them.”

Thanks, Hedone! I love Mae West, too…very progressive woman (and naughty). After a brief stint in jail for corrupting the values of minors (for a play she wrote and starred in) she announced to the reporters that she wore her silk panties while inside. Cheeky!Enjoy your weekend, too!
